About Us
At Chardé Counseling Center, healing is personal—and so is the care we provide.
We believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
Our team provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, infertility, motherhood, life transitions, emotional and behavioral challenges, and other experiences that can make life feel overwhelming.
While each of our therapists brings her own areas of expertise and therapeutic style, we share a common goal: creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and create meaningful change.
Our approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. We meet our clients where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be—with greater self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and peace.
Whether we’re supporting a child learning to understand big emotions, an adult navigating a difficult season, or a woman rediscovering herself through one of life’s many transitions, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Understanding Our Clinicians’ Credentials
At Chardé Counseling Center, you may see the credentials LMSW, LCSW, and LCSW-S listed after our clinicians’ names. Each represents a different level of social work licensure, training, and professional responsibility.
LMSW — Licensed Master Social Worker
An LMSW has earned a master’s degree in social work and passed the required licensing examination. LMSWs may provide clinical therapy services under appropriate clinical supervision while developing advanced clinical experience.
LCSW — Licensed Clinical Social Worker
An LCSW has completed additional supervised clinical experience and met the requirements for independent clinical licensure. LCSWs are qualified to independently assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions and provide psychotherapy.
LCSW-S — Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Board-Approved Supervisor
An LCSW-S is an experienced LCSW who has completed additional requirements to become a board-approved clinical supervisor. In addition to providing therapy, an LCSW-S may supervise social workers who are completing the clinical experience required to pursue independent LCSW licensure.
No matter which clinician you work with, your care is supported by professional standards, clinical oversight when required, and our practice’s commitment to compassionate, quality mental health care.
Meet The Team

Charde' Walker, LCSW-S, CART
Founder & Clinical Supervisor
I specialize in supporting girls and women as they navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, infertility, motherhood, and major life transitions.
Sometimes life changes in ways we never expected, and even the strongest person can need a space where she doesn’t have to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a safe, empowering environment where you can feel understood, process what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with yourself.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, establish healthier boundaries, and build greater confidence and self-awareness.
I believe therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and creating a life that feels healthier and more aligned with who you are.
Whether you’re healing from the past, adjusting to a new season, navigating motherhood, or simply trying to find yourself again, you deserve a space that is yours.
Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, resilient, and at peace.

Keandra Upson, LMSW
Adult Therapist
I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, infertility, and major life transitions.
I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re balancing relationships, responsibilities, expectations, and your own emotional needs. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can slow down, process what you’re experiencing, and feel genuinely heard.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and recognize the strengths you already possess.
Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more confident, grounded, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

Jennifer Lang, LMSW
Child Therapist
I specialize in supporting children and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
Children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling. Sometimes those emotions show up through behaviors, difficulty regulating emotions, changes at home or school, or struggles with confidence and relationships.
My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning new ways to understand and manage their emotions.
My approach is warm, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and strengths-based.
I use age-appropriate therapeutic interventions to help children develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen confidence, and build resilience.
I also believe supporting a child means supporting the people who care for them. When appropriate, I collaborate with parents and caregivers to help families better understand their child’s needs and reinforce healthy skills outside of therapy.
Together, we’ll help your child feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered to grow.
